A Couple of New Layouts

I took a little time this morning to play with a new kit I got recently. It's Re-Creation 23 from Createwings Designs and Catherine Designs. You can get it at After 5 Designs. While you are there, check out their other collab Creation 23 - these work very well together. In fact, the rope frame in the second layout is from Creation 23. Everything else is from Re-Creation 23. This was a great kit to work with, and I had a lot of fun putting these together!





This one was made for the With A Twist Challenge at After 5 Designs. Template is from Purple Colourz.

One more Helly layout

Okay, so last night, it was really late (actually early this morning), and I remembered I wanted to apply for a spot on Studio Crystal's team, as she does rockin' templates (plus the layouts she makes are a thing of beauty!!!) And I still wanted to try my clustering again for Helly, especially after seeing a tutorial by Studio Nee Nee on the Daily Digi blog. So, here is my attempt - I'm really happy with how it came out (except one mistake that I'm not going to point out, but, yeah, it's there.)

I saw that Designs by Helly was having a CT Call, and as I am a big fan of her work, I decided to give it a shot. She gave me this beautiful kit to "audition" with. I don't think I stand a chance - I know she is looking for someone who rocks at clustering, and that would not be me - yet. (I am working on it, though...) Anyway, check out this gorgeous kit, available at Scrapbook Bytes (which has had a lovely makeover, by the way!)

Check out this great new kit from CuddleBeez Scraps! She always has the best papers - that is one thing I love about her kits! And this one has fantastic flowers as well, although I didn't use them much in my layouts - I was concentrating on the beautiful papers. : ) Get it at Digital Scrapbooking Studio, Bouquet of Pixels or Butterfly Blush - it's only $2.80 today!!!



Here are my layouts. I think I overdid the paper pieces a little on the first layout, but I am totally in love with how the second came out!
